Its about time to help Veterans
Here at Golden Age Manufacturing our primary goal is to create unique inventory to sell in order to give back to the veterans in our community.
My name is Jerry Swisshelm, and I’d like to share why I put pictures on clocks—and how this journey began.
I graduated from Savannah High School in Anaheim in 1964, during the height of the Vietnam War draft. Wanting to choose my own path, I enlisted in the U.S. Navy. I trained in firefighting and damage control and was stationed aboard the USS Dale, a guided-missile frigate. I turned 21 in the Tonkin Gulf, where our crew rescued downed pilots. Those months were intense and unforgettable, but they also taught me valuable skills in air conditioning and refrigeration—and more importantly, resilience.
